Product of the week – Kind Thoughts Stencil

Have you had a chance to check out the Inspiration Station on the Right sidebar? This is a beautiful Card I received in an over the top swap, at Convention 09, from Sam Woodruff.

I love the texture of this card! The stencil was sponged with Whisper White Craft ink and then embossed with Winter White Embossing Powder. The color under the stencil was sponged –right over the top of the texture plate image! How cool is that?

At first glance this stamp seems to be for the kids but look again, the 1st card could be used for any guy.
TIP:  When mounting this stamp use a craft knife and cut out the words form the wrapper. Place them on the oppisite side of your wood block – creating a double sided stamp and you can add the words only when you want them!

Memories of MOM

These were the scrapbook pages we created in Feb, at my Traditional Scrapbook Class. We should all scrapbook Memories of our Mom or Memories of being a Mom!


The Saffron Flower Border was created by stamping the vine form Vintage Vogue, in versa mark. Then chalked with so saffron (Stampin’ Pastels) and a sponge dauber. It gives the page a nice vintage look!

Flower Details: Punch 5 Scallop Circles in a matching pattern and crumple them. Use a brad for the center of the flower and start adding the scallops to the brad. Squish more as desired and then flatten before you add them to your pages.

Now for the girls. She used the I {heart} hearts set, 3 heart punch and the full heart punch.

Digital all Day
